A Pictorial Guide to Larian Kardio PPUM 2007

Hello all!

The momentum behind Larian Kardio is snowballing.

We've had tremendous response from the medical students at UMMC and we are optimistic about a similar response from the School of Nursing.

Here are photographs of the Larian Kardio route.

While I've not received any professional training (anyone remember that line?), the photographs, truly don't do the route justice. It's a lovely section of UMMC.

We have the uphill challenges, and the downhill glides as well as sustained level stretches that are relaxing for even the occasional jogger. There's something for everyone, and at the end of the day, Larian Kardio is not about winning but about raising funds for charity.

Did you know that research has proven that doing charitable works releases chemicals that give you a natural high? I'm thinking of a new tagline : Larian Kardio - The Natural High!

But I digress.

See my next post for the best bits, the gorgeously green enclave of Rimba Ilmu, UMMC's green lung mini forest reserve and of course the finish line.

At 5.5km it is not long, nor is it a tough run.
