A Pictorial Guide to Larian Kardio 2007 - Continued

I'm quite pleased with a few of these photographs. Really captures the sense of peace, quite in mysterious rainforest setting. The shady trails, dappled with early morning sunlight. The mistiness and silence pierced by the chirping of duelling crickets.

Hmmm. Doesn't it just make you want to join this run? Hint, hint...

Yes we have the standard issue asphalt roads, but these little slices of rainforest heaven make all the difference.

Pic 6 : Jog through a passage way of primordial-type ferns
Pic 7 : Let the sun shine in
Pic 8 : Cool, dappled trails
Pic 9 : The finish line where heart conscious, charitable, Larian Kardio participants will emerge.

Finis. For the runners its the end, but its a new beginning for an underprivileged patient.

Cool pictures...even cooler when you are in the Rimba Ilmu!

Nik Halmey was talking to me yesterday about doing a guided tour of the Rimba Ilmu dat morning of September 2, mainly for kids. He even suggested inviting Zainal to come along...and maybe even sing the song 'Hijau' in the Rimba Ilmu! How appropriate, don't you think?

Wild idea? Hahaha... I think it is a great idea! Absolutely fantabulous!!!! Nik, can you work on that? :)

Btw, Zainal is coming to entertain the thousands that will flock the Health Fair. He will be joined by Anuar Zain and Farah Asyikin (OIAM). It will definitely be a day to remember!
